Ok, not really. I made him a Valentine's shirt. Of course I'm his Valentine.
Here's a close up of the "tattoo". Also, of all the pictures, it is the truest to the real life color.
The shirt is a nice, dark navy that in it's past life was a man's XL t-shirt. I recycled. I used this tutorial from Made. You could also make it with a onesie (get one at the dollar store!) or a purchased t-shirt. Then I cut out the heart (also from an old t-shirt) and just eyeballed the embroidery. I "heart" how it turned out!
oh man, that is really cool/cute! Great tatoo. I love the "handmade" look. In fact...it reminds me of some very fun shirts I'm giving away on MADE tomorrow! I didn't make them; can't take credit. But I'm in love with them.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing with me. you have a eye for cool boy stuff :)
YAY for new posts!! I'm going to have to remember to check out your blog regularly now. :) Your little Emmerz guy is so precious!!!! Is he bigger? Has he grown??
ReplyDeleteYou MADE that hat and those mittens?! I thought it was a picture you got off the internet! They are SOOOOOOO cute!!!! You are so talented and crafty. I need you here to teach me. Maybe you guys could move to Texas when we do. :)
Yup Bree, I made 'em. I also made the mom tattoo shirt start to finish. (Not just the embroidery, I sewed the actual shirt, and made my own pattern from another shirt.) It's fun. :) Maybe YOU guys should move to WASHINGTON when we do! ;) You might like it!
